Best Momos in Pune (2025) — 10 Places That Actually Deliver
Pune has a momo scene that punches above its weight. The student density around FC Road, Kothrud, and Viman Nagar has created a competitive market where mediocre spots don't survive long. That's actually good news for you — most places on this list have earned their spot through repeat visits from a discerning, price-sensitive crowd.
We spent 6 months visiting 25+ spots across the city, from the old-school Tibetan kitchens in Camp to the newer operations in Baner and Wakad. We skipped places that had good reviews but disappointing momos. We revisited places we weren't sure about.
What follows is the honest list.
Why trust this guide?
25+ spots visited over 6 months. Repeat visits for any place we weren't sure about. Zero paid placements.

Tibet House
Camp, Pune
1,560 reviews
The best momos in Pune, and the closest thing to a Tibetan grandmother's cooking you'll find in the city. Run by a Tibetan family for over a decade, Tibet House does not adapt its momos for Indian palates. The filling is lightly seasoned, the fold is tight, and the accompanying sauce is a proper Szechuan-style chilli oil — not the mayonnaise-based sauces that dominate everywhere else. Go for the steamed; the fried are a secondary order.
Must Try
Pork steamed momos with Szechuan chilli oil
Timings
12 PM – 3 PM, 7 PM – 10 PM (closed Sundays)
“Best momos in Pune. The benchmark everything else is measured against.”
Momo Kingdom
FC Road, Pune
3,100 reviews
The FC Road institution. Students from Fergusson College, Symbiosis, and BMCC have made this place a daily habit, and the kitchen has adapted accordingly: fast service, honest portions, and prices that don't insult your wallet. The veg chilli momos here are the best version of that dish in Pune — spicy without being abusive, coated evenly, not drowned in sauce.
Must Try
Veg chilli momos + tandoori momos (ask for the combo)
Timings
10 AM – 10:30 PM
“FC Road's momo capital. The veg options here outclass most non-veg places.”
Momo Street
Kothrud, Pune
1,890 reviews
Kothrud's best-kept secret, and the only momo spot in our entire Pune list that stays open past 11 PM. The fried momos are the calling card — a crispy shell that doesn't collapse when you bite, non-greasy, with a filling that holds. The late hours mean this is where the post-10 PM crowd ends up. Cash only, no reservations, inconsistent seating.
Must Try
Fried chicken momos — and go after 9 PM when the real rush hits
Timings
11 AM – 12 AM (midnight)
“Kothrud's definitive momo spot. The late hours are a bonus.”
Himalayan Café
Koregaon Park, Pune
2,240 reviews
Koregaon Park's momo spot for when you want to sit down, take your time, and spend slightly more. The setting is comfortable (actual chairs, a menu you can read), and the momos earn the price premium. The cheese momos specifically are unexpectedly good — cheese variants usually disappoint, but these use a sharp processed cheese blend that works with the chicken filling. Don't skip the soup.
Must Try
Chicken cheese momos + Tibetan butter tea
Timings
12 PM – 11 PM
“Best upscale momo experience in Pune. Worth the extra spend.”
Snow Peak Momos
Viman Nagar, Pune
1,670 reviews
The IT corridor's favourite momo spot, serving the Magarpatta and Viman Nagar offices with clockwork efficiency. Consistent quality is the story here — four visits across our research period, and the momos were identical each time. The rotating weekly special (announced on a chalkboard outside) keeps regulars coming back. The garlic sauce is exceptional and available as a standalone dip.
Must Try
Weekly special + garlic dip (order separately)
Timings
10 AM – 10:30 PM
“The most reliable momo spot for Pune's east side.”
Mountain View Café
Aundh, Pune
920 reviews
One of the newer entries on this list, Mountain View opened in 2023 and built a reputation fast in Aundh. The mushroom momos are the reason: umami-forward, properly filling, and textured in a way that dried mushroom preparations never achieve. The rest of the menu is good but not remarkable. If you're vegetarian and in the Aundh-Baner corridor, this is your move.
Must Try
Mushroom momos (fried) with sesame dip
Timings
11 AM – 10 PM
“Best mushroom momos in Pune. Worth the Aundh trip.”
Momo Magic Baner
Baner, Pune
2,100 reviews
The same chain as Mumbai's Momo Magic, but with a locally adapted menu that's actually better in some respects. The keema momos — not available in the Mumbai outlets — are a Pune exclusive and are excellent: properly spiced minced meat filling with a slightly thicker skin to handle the weight. The Baner outlet serves the Hinjewadi tech park overflow and is accordingly packed on weekdays.
Must Try
Keema momos (Pune exclusive) — not on the standard menu, ask for it
Timings
11 AM – 11 PM
“Better than the Mumbai outlet. The keema momos are a genuine find.”
Yeti Momos
Hadapsar, Pune
780 reviews
8 pieces for ₹70, and they're actually good. That's the entire pitch for Yeti Momos, and it holds. The Hadapsar location serves the residential and industrial crowd that can't always justify Himalayan Café prices. The momos are simple, properly cooked, and served with a chilli sauce that has heat. Don't expect seating upgrades or menu variety. Expect honest momos at honest prices.
Must Try
8-piece steamed veg momos (₹70) — the best value on this list
Timings
11 AM – 9 PM
“Pune's best pure-budget momo option. No frills, no disappointments.”
Lotus Garden
Pimpri, Pune
1,240 reviews
The best momo spot in the Pimpri-Chinchwad area, and specifically the best place for soup momos in all of Pune. The broth here is made from scratch daily — ginger-heavy, slightly sour, with proper heat. In winter, this becomes mandatory. The rest of the Chinese-Tibetan menu is solid, and the momos work equally well fried or steamed if you're not in soup mode.
Must Try
Soup momos (chicken) — especially October through February
Timings
11 AM – 10 PM
“Best momo spot in Pimpri-Chinchwad. The soup momos are the reason.”
The Momo Lab
Wakad, Pune
860 reviews
Wakad's most interesting momo operation, running a rotating menu of fusion variants alongside a solid traditional lineup. The fusion here is done with restraint — they're not putting chocolate in momos — more like adapting textures and sauces while keeping the dumpling format. The corn and cheese variant (permanent menu) is legitimately delicious. Worth following their social media for the specials.
Must Try
Corn and cheese momos (permanent) + whatever the weekly special is
Timings
12 PM – 11 PM
“The most creative kitchen on this list. Consistent enough to trust, experimental enough to be interesting.”

Our Honest Verdict
Pune's momo market is surprisingly competitive. The student economy has pushed quality up while keeping prices honest. The best place here — Tibet House, Camp — is genuinely exceptional by any standard. The worst place on this list is still better than most alternatives in the city.
If we had to pick one place: Tibet House. Best momos in Pune. The benchmark everything else is measured against.
