The best momos in Pune, and the closest thing to a Tibetan grandmother's cooking you'll find in the city. Run by a Tibetan family for over a decade, Tibet House does not adapt its momos for Indian palates. The filling is lightly seasoned, the fold is tight, and the accompanying sauce is a proper Szechuan-style chilli oil — not the mayonnaise-based sauces that dominate everywhere else. Go for the steamed; the fried are a secondary order.

Students from Fergusson College, Symbiosis, and BMCC have made this place a daily habit, and the kitchen has adapted accordingly: fast service, honest portions, and prices that don't insult your wallet. Koregaon Park's momo spot for when you want to sit down, take your time, and spend slightly more. The setting is comfortable (actual chairs, a menu you can read), and the momos earn the price premium. The cheese momos specifically are unexpectedly good — cheese variants usually disappoint, but these use a sharp processed cheese blend that works with the chicken filling. Don't skip the soup.

The IT corridor's favourite momo spot, serving the Magarpatta and Viman Nagar offices with clockwork efficiency. The broth here is made from scratch daily — ginger-heavy, slightly sour, with proper heat. In winter, this becomes mandatory. The rest of the Chinese-Tibetan menu is solid, and the momos work equally well fried or steamed if you're not in soup mode.

Wakad's most interesting momo operation, running a rotating menu of fusion variants alongside a solid traditional lineup. The fusion here is done with restraint — they're not putting chocolate in momos — more like adapting textures and sauces while keeping the dumpling format.
